Paul Raducha - 2-Mile Save the Bay Swim Fundraiser this Saturday July 13th
Over the past 30 years I've come to understand the profound influence Narragansett Bay and how it resonates with all of us in unique ways. Whether eating at one of the many raw bars serving bay oysters, boating, watching the sunset at one of the many waterfront establishments, or just soaking in the rays on the beach it has touched us all
Narragansett Bay is now cleaner than it has been in over a century, greatly due to efforts of the Save the Bay organization. Save the Bay is an independent, member-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and improving Narragansett Bay and all the 1,700 square miles of waters located in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
I have chosen to once again participate in the Save the Bay Swim, a two-mile, open-water swim across Narragansett Bay's East Passage this Saturday July 13th. It is one of the organization's largest fundraisers, and I am reaching out to you for a donation to sponsor my swim.
I do not ask for your hard-earned money lightly. For the past months, I have trained, logging over 120 miles in the pool and open ocean. I ask for your support and donation; and together we can make a difference as a team.
Sincerely
Paul Raducha
