This year I swim #withKeith for Save the Bay 2024
This will be my 8th swim this year I turn 58! My big picture goal is to make my 10th swim as I turn 60 on the 20th anniversary of my first swim in 2006. Open water swimming has become such an important part of my life and well being and if not for Save the Bay, we wouldn’t have this incredible resource for recreation and livelihood in Rhode Island. I have come to know the most incredible people in this wacky open water swimming community. This year our team “#withKeith” dedicates our swim in memory of one of the finest people I was lucky to know. Keith Ryan lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on June 3, 2023. On his prayer card he reminds us that “I will always be with you. If you go for a swim, I am stroking right beside you.” Please consider donating to this important cause so that Rhode Islanders and her visitors can continue to enjoy the splendor of Narragansett Bay for all our personal and glorious reasons.
