Thank you for your support!
2025 Swim Report:
Wow! What a day to swim the Bay! July 19th came with beautiful weather and ideal conditions through and through. Aside from a minor hiccup regarding kayak requirements (yep, you really DO need to read the fine print!), my swim went great! Cailen was an awesome kayak support and was able to capture some photos, too.
Thanks to all who donated this year and helped me meet and SURPASS my goal. Next year is the 50th anniversary of the swim — and I'm already feeling committed!
Here's to slowing down the rest of the summer — enjoy every bit of it! And thanks again :)

It’s been 10 years since I completed my first Save The Bay Swim — and more than a few since my last one in 2018. This July, I’m taking the plunge once again to help raise funds in support of Save The Bay’s mission: protecting and improving the ocean waters and freshwater tributaries of Narragansett Bay.
Since 1970, Save The Bay has been a vital force in advocating for smart environmental policies that directly impact the health of our local waters. It’s also an incredible educational resource, offering hands-on learning experiences for schools and youth organizations that spark curiosity about the world beneath the surface. And it builds community — connecting people through shared volunteer work on the shore, in boats and behind the scenes.
That’s why, on July 19, I’ll be swimming the 2-mile, point-to-point course from Newport to Jamestown. I won’t be sprinting this swim (quite the opposite, actually), but I am sprinting toward my fundraising goal! I’d be honored if you would support my swim with a tax-deductible donation by July 18 to help me reach the minimum $400 required (and hey — it would be great to surpass that )
Thanks in advance for your consideration in helping me support this important cause.
And speaking of support — a big shout out to my son, Cailen, who will be my kayaker this year!
