Welcome to My Personal Page
This year has been quite eventful for me. Unfortunately since the last Save the Bay swim my mother passed away from a long fight with cancer and I found out I needed treatment for a heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. One of the first people I would call after the swim was my mother to let her know how the swim went. She was always supportive and would donate to Save the Bay every year. She will be greatly missed.
I had open heart surgery on 2/10/25 and my goal in rehab is to complete my 20th crossing of the bay this summer. I am dedicating this swim to my mother’s memory and to all those who have supported me through my cardiac rehabilitation. Thank you for your generous donations to support the ongoing efforts to keep our environment and specifically our beautiful Narragansett Bay clean and usable for years to come. I will continue to swim to raise money for Save the Bay and believe we are making a difference. Thank you for your continued generous support of my efforts to keep our waterways and environment clean.
Rob
