This was my TWENTY SIXTH Annual Swim! Please donate to Save the Bay.
Yes, these are wild times. This year, it’s more important than at any time in my lifetime to support Our Environment.
About 300 of us swam 2 miles on Saturday, July 19 across Narragansett Bay. The swim goes from Newport to Jamestown, RI - all open water. My time of 1:09 was my best in a few years.
All I ask is your support and generous donation.
Save the Bay now has a stunning Aquarium in Newport. They're active in keeping offshore wind projects sustainable. And they're all about education and keeping our Bay clean enough to grow healthy food and to swim in.
The Swim was early again this year, and the day was perfect. Save the Bay hosts a fun event and celebration of the effort and unity around our water here in The Ocean State.
Please support this fine organization and my committment to a cleaner Bay and ocean. Thank you, thank you.
I'm going swimming again now.......
