Keith Ryan poses for a portrait at the finish of the 2019 Save the Bay swim. Keith died on June 3, 2023. On his prayer card, shown above, he promised us: "I will always be with you. If you go for a swim, I am stroking right beside you."

Hello friends, family and ocean lovers:

We swim in love and honor of Keith Ryan and his family. #withkeith -- and of the oceans and shores we all love.

Our dear friend and fellow swimmer Keith swam his final STB in 2019. He received his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in July 2020. Keith made it his goal to see his son, Michael, graduate from George Washington University on May 19 and 21, 2023, from George Washington University. Keith lived to see Michael graduate and died on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

The swim is Save The Bay’s largest annual fundraiser, serving as a critical support to STB's efforts to protect and restore the Narragansett Bay region.

Whatever you can give will help, I greatly appreciate your support -- and it's tax-deductible.

Life moves swiftly, my friends. Make time to enjoy all your blessings: family, friends, the beauty of nature, our gorgeous shores and waters.

Thank you. Cheers,

Cheryl
