Save the Bay is a great local, grass roots organization keeping a close eye on the beautiful beaches and bays of Rhode Island.  

For the fourth time, I will swim from Newport to Jamestown Island along the Newport Bridge (~1.6 miles if we go straight).  My sister Jen will lead the way as my kayaker. Swim buddies Amy and Aly will be out there too. I hope to beat my time (we'll see) but this keeps me swimming year round. 

Every year, we honor Keith Ryan, a swimmer and dear friend who passed away from pancreatic cancer.  He swims with us in spirit.  #withkeith
