Hi all,

August 8th is my birthday so I saw it as a sign to throw on a bathing suit and celebrate with a two-mile open water swim. I've wanted to swim an ocean mile to face my fear of the deep unknown and because I love swimming for as long as I can remember. So why not make it two miles :) Thanks for your support it means a lot to me and more importantly to Save the Bay - an organization I volunteer for as "trash lady" or Beach Captain as they like to say.
