Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear STB donors, swim is cancelled and there is no postpone date.
Which means I will do a timed swim for a measured 2 miles at Second Beach. Planning for 2 PM Friday Aug 4 if not before. Will annouce my time on Facebook and by Email. The swim I will be doing is exactly the distance of the usual STB course: 2 Statute;1.7 Nautical
The life guards there know the distances well. Till Friday you haven't donated or predicted, you have a reprieve. Fund Raising prize and double donation to a Charity of your choice still applies to the Prediction winner.
A refresher on the drill. Donate to this most worthy cause and come closest to predicting my time and I double your donation to a charity of your choice and award you the fund raising prize which was a Kayak last year, see photo, Shirt. As we have done in past years, submit your prediction to Bill Johnson at email@example.com. Bill is a Wharton accountant and retired Navy Supply Corps Officer whom I have known for over 45 years. Do not CC me. Bill will keep your prediction secure and ensure there is no bias in my swim effort. He will announce the winner following the event. In event of a tie, largest donation will be declared the winner. Next tie breaker will be time/date of your Email predicting the time.
How do you predict? Take a look at my 11 past times. Average, fastest and slowest shown after the data for each year. This will be my 12th:
