Welcome to Kylee's 2018 Save The Bay Swim fundraising page
Greetings friends and family,
I'm not crazy, but I am committed! I've signed up to participate in the 2018 Save The Bay Swim, a 1.7 mile open water swim from Newport to Jamestown. The funds raised help Save The Bay to advance its mission of protecting and restoring Narragansett Bay through advocacy, education, and habitat restoration.
Many of you regularly enjoy the beautiful waters of the Narragansett Bay and appreciate the importance of protecting this valuable natural resource. What you might not know is that Save The Bay works in partnership with many environmental organizations to promote healthy water quality in tributaries of the Bay. The Palmer River in my hometown of Rehoboth is one of them. In fact, 60% of the watershed that contributes fresh water to the Bay is in Massachusetts!
I have set my fundraising goal to the minimum required for participation, but there is nothing wrong (and everything right!) if we go above and beyond. No donation is too small, and those $10 donations add up quickly!
I hope you can join me in my effort to help Save the Bay...I promise I will swim hard for you!
Thanks for your support,
