Please support my 18th swim for Save the Bay.
Save The Bay's annual Narragansett Bay swim is back again this year! And so am I, reaching out to many faithful previous supporters as well as new ones.
I'm hopeful that this, my 18th swim for Save the Bay, will not be my last. I'm aiming for at least 20 years....god and my arthritic joints willing!
Sadly, a bum left shoulder means I'm not able to freestyle the 2 mile cross-bay swim. But, I am registered for a 1/2 mile "virtual" swim (combining modified breast, back, and side strokes with a one arm freestyle) at Barrington Beach later this summer.
The Swim is Save the Bay's largest annual fundraiser. It provides critical support for STB's many initiatives protecting and advocating for Narragansett Bay, as well as educating 1,000's of school children each year.
I hope you'll consider sponsoring my 18th swim this year to support Save the Bay's environmental stewardship.
Whatever is comfortable for you, each dollar counts. Please help Save the Bay continue its vital work.
