Welcome to My Personal Swim The Bay Page
Dear Friends and Family,
Once again this year (for the 12th time) I am going to swim 1.7 nautical miles (about 2 miles) across Narragansett Bay in an iconic swim to raise funds and awareness in support of Save The Bay. I do this because our bay and its watershed is a gift that every one of us enjoys and benefits from in many ways.
This year the swim takes place on Saturday, July 27, across Narragansett Bay from Newport to Jamestown. The money we raise supports Save The Bay's research and education programs and furthers their mission to fight for a fully swimmable, fishable, healthy Narragansett Bay that is accessible to all.
Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up! And with a donation of $35 or more, you will receive a one-year membership (or renewal) to Save The Bay. You can use the link to the right to make an online donation.
Or if you prefer to donate by check (payable to Save the Bay), you can mail it to me at 99 Stonehenge Rd, Kingston, RI 02881.
Thank you for making a difference and helping to support Save The Bay's efforts to preserve and protect our shoreline for the generations to come.
