Welcome to My Personal Page

I'm so excited to be participating in the Save The Bay fundraiser swim this August for the first time! The two mile open water Swim runs roughly parallel to the Newport Bridge from the Naval War College to Jamestown's Potter Cove.
In the early years (late 1970s) of this annual event, swimmers would emerge from the water with oil and tar balls on their skin and swimsuits. Narragansett Bay was choked by raw sewage and industrial toxins. Thanks to the critical work of Save The Bay, it has made a strong comeback. Becoming healthier and accessible for swimming, fishing, sailing and more. But there’s still work to be done. Special events like the Swim generate critical funding in supporting Save The Bay to carry out their mission of protecting and improving Narragansett Bay and its watershed.
I'd be honored if you donated to my swim and aided in supporting Save The Bay.
