Dear Family and Friends,
CLASSIC CROSS-BAY SWIM COURSE:
Sadly, last year I had to miss out on this on one of my favorite fundraising and athletic events, but this year, I was lucky enough to get a spot in the scaled down 2.0-mile Swim across the Bay! I am happy to be able to raise funds and awareness again in 2021 in support of Save The Bay's mission to protect and improve Narragansett Bay. Please consider supporting my efforts.
NEW SHORT SWIM COURSE:
I have accepted the challenge to do a 0.5 mile to raise funds and awareness in support of Save the Bay before the end of August.
RUN:
In these trying times, we have to get creative about keeping in shape and also supporting the organizations that are being hurt by cancelled events. I have have accepted the challenge to run a 5K to raise funds and awareness in support of Save the Bay's mission to protect and improve our beloved Narragansett Bay.
BIKE:
Thank you for helping me exercise the right to a clean and healthy Bay by supporting my 25-mile bike ride to raise money for Save The Bay. In these trying times, I am hoping to help this non-profit that means so much to me.
KAYAK:
As fitness and outdoor fundraising events are being cancelled all over the country, I have accepted a virtual event the challenge to kayak five miles to raise money for Save The Bay's mission to protect and improve the Bay I love to enjoy so much.
SUP PADDLEBOARD:
In support of Save The Bay, I am taking on the "virtual" event challenge of paddleboarding 2.0 miles to raise awareness and funds for Save The Bay. As fundraising events have been cancelled, I want to do my part to help Save The Bay continue it's mission to protect and improve Narragansett Bay.
ROW:
As fitness and outdoor fundraising events are being cancelled all over the country, I have accepted a virtual event the challenge to row a 5K to raise awareness and funds for Save The Bay's mission to protect and improve the Bay I love to enjoy so much.
Save The Bay is celebrating over 50 years of extremely hard work advocating for a cleaner, healthier bay. That means many years advocating for important legislation, habitat restoration, education and community outreach under the mission to protect and improve our Bay. Please join me in celebrating 50 years of this very cruicial work as you know how important this mission is to me.
Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up! I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
